  • Client Ownership: OCS acknowledges that all video footage, snapshots, and audio recorded by the installed system belong exclusively to the client.
  • Access for Service: Our technicians may require temporary access to live feeds or recorded footage during installation, "fine-tuning" of viewing angles, or troubleshooting. We will only access this data with your explicit verbal or written consent.
  • No Remote Monitoring: Unless specifically contracted for remote monitoring services, OCS does not have "backdoor" access to your feeds. We prioritize your privacy by encouraging clients to change default administrative passwords immediately after installation.

3. Network and Data Security

​For systems involving NAS (Network Attached Storage) or remote mobile viewing, we implement industry-standard security protocols:

  • Encryption: We configure systems to use encrypted streams where hardware allows.
  • Strong Authentication: We assist clients in setting up complex passwords and, where applicable, Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
  • Firewall Optimization: We configure routers to minimize exposure to the public internet while maintaining remote access functionality.

4. Third-Party Sharing

​We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information or video data to third parties. We may share limited contact information with:

  • Hardware Manufacturers: Only for warranty registration or technical RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) processes.
  • Legal Compliance: If required by law to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process.

  • Client Records: We retain your service history and system configuration data for the duration of your warranty or service agreement.
  • Video Footage: We do not host your footage on our servers. Retention periods are determined by the storage capacity of your local hard drives and your specific settings (e.g., circular recording).
